Seoul, Korea — Medyssey, a Dongwha Pharm affiliate specializing in spinal implants, has been recognized with the Best Management Award at the 13th Korea KONEX Awards, 

highlighting the company’s sustained growth, operational stability, and expanding technological capabilities.



Established in 2003, Medyssey develops and manufactures spinal fixation implants for orthopedic and neurosurgical applications. Since becoming part of the Dongwha Pharm Group in 2020, the company has maintained an average annual revenue growth rate of approximately 9% over the past five years.


In 2025, Medyssey reported consolidated revenue of KRW 28.3 billion, with operating profit reaching KRW 4.0 billion and net income KRW 3.3 billion. International business continues to represent a significant part of the company’s growth, with exports accounting for approximately 58% of total revenue in 2025.


Medyssey currently serves markets across 25 countries, supported by overseas subsidiaries and distribution networks in markets including the United States, Chile, and Thailand. Its cumulative export footprint has expanded to 27 countries over the past three years.


Technology remains another important pillar of the company’s development. Medyssey was among the first Korean medical device companies to adopt metal additive manufacturing for patient-specific implants and now operates one of the country’s largest in-house 3D printing infrastructures for medical applications.


The recognition at the Korea KONEX Awards reflects a trajectory that extends beyond financial performance: a growing international footprint, sustained investment in technology, and a long-term approach to building clinical and commercial capabilities.


Medyssey plans to further expand its international regulatory approvals and develop market-specific solutions, with continued focus on spinal implants and patient-specific 3D-printed implants.
